Jane », « Striptease ») et Margaret Qualley (« Kinds of Kindness », « Poor Things ») qui joue son jeune sosie. Un brillant film de body horror, satirique, passionnant et aux effets visuels saisissants. « The Substance » a gagné le prix du meilleur scénario au Festival de Cannes.
